Linkin Park est un groupe formé à la fin des années 90 à Los Angeles. Les membres du groupe (Chester Bennington (chanteur), Mike Shinoda (rappeur, guitariste, pianiste, bruitages), Rob Bourdon (batteur), Darren "Phoenix" Farell (bassiste), Joe "Mr" Hahn (DJ) et Brad Delson (guitariste) apportent tous une pointe d'originalité dans la musique du groupe qui est un mélange de hard rock, métal, rock, rap et musique électronique
